As reported by Rule of law in Poland, six former Disciplinary Chamber judges have decided to retire and they will receive a monthly payment of around 4200 euros for, as underlined by Jakub Jaraczewski, ‘making judicial responsibility a reality, and not a mirage’. Read more

Re:constitution conference ‘Distance and Convergence: re:constituting Democracy and the Rule of Law in Europe’ will take place on 8-9 September in Berlin. The president of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Koen Lenaerts, will be the keynote speaker of the event. Márta Pardavi, Michael Meyer-Resende and Dimitry Kochenov will join the panel.
